J. Craig Harper, President
Mr. Harper began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with Arthur Andersen and Price Waterhouse. Mr. Harper’s work experience includes real estate development and investments, with firms including Justice Corporation of South Carolina and Financial Services Corporation, Commodore Realty Investments, Inc. and First Equities Corporation in Atlanta, Georgia. Mr. Harper founded EquiFirst Realty Services, Inc., the predecessor to Harper Properties in 1989. Mr. Harper received his BBA in Accounting from Armstrong State College in Savannah, Georgia in 1978 and his Masters degree in Accounting from Georgia State University. Mr. Harper has won several awards from the Greater Atlanta Home Builders for Best Building Design of the Dunwoody Row Townhomes in 2005 and the Gold Award for Best Website by a Builder, in 2005. Mr. Harper had the vision to design and build the Dunwoody Row Townhomes after the Savannah Historic District. He has a flair for envisioning and building unique quality of residential and commerical properties. He is a native of Savannah, Georgia.

Charlie Shearman, Superintendant
Mr. Shearman began his construction career working for his father’s family business. Shearman and Associates built high end residential construction, commercial tenant improvements and new construction, infrastructure construction and resort rehab (hurricane) construction. They ran 25 million a year in contracts for 8 years, making them the St. Thomas, USVI’s largest island based contractor. In 1997, Mr. Sherman moved to Atlanta and began working with Torrey Homes/D.R. Horton as a field supervisor. He then moved to the office and eventually became the Director of Operations for the Atlanta division of one of the nation’s largest home builders. Mr. Shearman also operated a small construction company on his own for several years before joining Harper Properties. Charlie has attended the University of the Virgin Islands, as well as Southern Polytechnic State University in Marietta, Georgia. Mr. Shearman was integral in building the Dunwoody Row Townhomes and he prides himself on maintaining a good rapport with vendors, subcontractors and customers while building high quality dream homes. Mr. Sherman is a huge Florida Gators fan and resides with his family in Cobb County. Mr. Shearman is a native of Pensacola, Florida.

Wendy Harper, Vice President - Sales, Marketing & Design
Ms. Harper began her career as a trial paralegal working for major law firms in Dallas, Orlando and Atlanta. During this time Ms. Harper served as president of Associations for the State of Georgia and in Dallas, Texas. She obtained her Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) designation, specializing in contracts. Ms. Harper has held previous Marketing Director positions in the insurance brokerage and real estate industries prior to joining Harper Properties in 2001. Ms. Harper is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Georgia and is a Certified New Homes Sales & Marketing Professional by the National Association of Home Builders. She obtained her college degree from Louisiana State University. Ms. Harper has won awards for Agent of the Year, Division 2, Morris & Raper Realtors, 2004; Salesperson of the year, Silver Award, Greater Atlanta Homebuilders, 2005; GE Monogram Custom Kitchen Design, National Award, 2nd Place, 2006. Her exterior and interior selections of Dunwoody Row were integral in winning Best Building Design by the Greater Home Builders in 2005 and her tile designs have been featured several times in G&L Marble’s Magazine for slate, travertine, granite, marble and glass designs in 2005 & 2006. Her personal home’s custom kitchen & tile designs have been featured in Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles, 2005, 2006 as well as other trade publications. She is a native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
